Imec, based in Leuven, Belgium, is seeking an Equipment Engineering Data Specialist to advance CIM integration for Smart Fab initiatives. The role focuses on equipment communication, MES, SPC, FDC, and APC compatibility, working closely with CIM and MES experts across a global team.

You have strong CIM knowledge, OPC/SECS familiarity, and a proactive, independent work style, with 5+ years in complex semiconductor environments, ideally 300 mm fabs. English fluency is essential for collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in engineering or exact sciences.
• Minimum 5 years in a complex manufacturing environment with demanding processes.
• Experience in or knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing is a strong asset, preferably 300 mm Fab.
• Experience with CIM, automation pyramid, state engines; OPC/SECS familiarity.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement CIM integration across MES, SPC, FDC, APC, and AMHS components.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to specify and realize equipment communication requirements.
• Engage in measurement techniques and reporting of results for diverse properties.
• Support roll-out of Smart Fab initiatives and CIM automation in production.
