Anson McCade is partnering with a market-leading AI EdTech client to hire a Principal AI Engineer. This role is highly hands-on and strategic, reporting to the founding team to shape both product vision and technical strategy for AI-powered learning products.

You will lead hands-on efforts to build scalable AI systems, maintain a strong builder mentality, and influence what gets built while maintaining coding involvement in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and shipping AI/ML products to production.
• Track record delivering customer-facing AI products at scale.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and builder mentality.
• Experience leading technical direction across complex AI initiatives.
• Product mindset with the ability to influence what gets built, not just how it's built.
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with minimal product management overhead.
