The Process Operator carries out all tasks with the aim of making production run as efficiently as possible in order to guarantee stable process operation. The operator is able to adjust the process parameters via the SCADA system.
What are your main tasks?
- You maintain and inspect the overall biomethanization installation, including the after-treatment of the digestates and the biogas engines as prescribed in the contracts of the various suppliers.
- If necessary, you carry out repairs of parts
- You record the changes in the process using a SCADA system and during maintenance work you record this in the corresponding logbooks
- You monitor the installation and supervise production
- You carry out laboratory analyses and follow up the entire administrative process
- You evaluate and assess the daily bio and chemistry culture and adjust where necessary
- You ensure the acceptance of incoming organic substances, register and check the required documents.
- You clean and maintain vehicles needed to feed the installation
- You monitor the feeding of the installation and adjust if necessary
- After the training, you will be trained to do on-call duty for 1 week/month (also weekends during the on-call week, refill the machine 2x a day on Saturday and Sunday)

What do we expect from you?
- You have obtained an associate degree diploma in a technical field or are equivalent through experience
- Good knowledge of pneumatics, electricity and basic knowledge of control equipment is required
- BA4/BA5, forklift, work-at-height, and telehandler certificates are assets
- You have a basic knowledge of Dutch and English
- You are an independent, flexible worker who carries out assigned tasks punctually and accurately.
- You are very safety-conscious.
- You can work as part of a team.
- You can anticipate, provide, act, respond and report to the hierarchical line
- You are part of the on-call system to guarantee the continuity of our services
- Some knowledge of biochemistry or chemistry is an asset
- Willing to be on standby for 1 week/month.
- You can work in shifts between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
- You have a driving licence B.
