Swift, headquartered in Belgium, seeks an Alliance Interfaces Chapter Lead to guide a team delivering and evolving Alliance interface products for global financial messaging. You will shape architecture, ensure secure, scalable integration, and mentor engineers across diverse projects.

You will combine leadership with hands-on technical excellence, aligning with ISO 20022 and MT standards while driving performance and security in a complex, distributed system landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience with financial messaging, enterprise integration, or distributed systems.
• 5+ years in technical leadership or management leading engineering teams.
• Deep hands-on experience with SWIFT's Alliance products.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 20022, MT messages and related protocols.
• Proven expertise in system architecture, design patterns, and scalable software development.
• Experience with multiple programming languages, integration technologies (MQ, APIs), and Linux/Windows.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage a chapter of engineers focused on Alliance interface products (e.g., Alliance Access and Alliance WebPlatform).
• Define and champion best practices, architectural patterns, and development standards for Alliance Interfaces.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to team members.
• Monitor industry trends and proactively identify opportunities and challenges for Alliance Interfaces.
• Contribute to quality standards, performance metrics, and compliance requirements for Alliance Interfaces.
