Deltalight is seeking a Certification Engineer to manage the certification process for our lighting solutions from concept to market launch. Based in our ISO 17025-accredited testing laboratory, you will coordinate testing activities, prepare technical reports, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and international certification partners.

You will lead certification projects from A to Z, stay current with international safety and performance standards, and help implement new testing

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent by experience.
• Broad technical interest across engineering disciplines with a willingness to learn.
• Hands-on experience with electrical, thermal and mechanical lab testing.
• Structured and methodical with strong documentation and test reports.
• Expertise in technical standards and product certification.
• Collaborative team player in Quality; able to manage certification projects independently.
• Excellent command of English and Dutch (spoken and written).

Responsabilités

• Manage testing activities within ISO 17025-accredited laboratory; prepare and review test reports.
• Lead certification projects from A to Z ensuring compliance with international safety and performance standards.
• Act as go-to R&D expert for technical standards and their practical implementation.
• Plan and support electrical, thermal, and mechanical testing; introduce new methods.
• Stay up to date with local and international standards and translate changes into guidance.
• Build and maintain relationships with international certification bodies and testing partners.
• Maintain and continuously improve ISO 17025 laboratory management system.
