About the role
Complade is an SCC-accredited certification body. You will coordinate accreditation matters, maintain our internal management system, oversee day-to-day audit operations and support the Certification Manager in reviewing audit results and managing certification. You will also be the main contact for clients with questions about the certification process. Working hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Belgium time (Europe/Brussels, CET/CEST). You may work remotely outside Belgium, provided you are legally eligible to work in Belgium.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact with the accreditation body. Coordinate accreditation applications, assessments, responses and ongoing requirements.
- Maintain Complade’s internal management system against ISO/IEC 17021-1, including procedures, records and corrective actions. Support future expansion to other conformity assessment standards, such as ISO/IEC 17029 or ISO/IEC 17025, if added to Complade’s activities.
- Review client applications and proposed scopes. Coordinate the selection of a suitable lead auditor and audit team based on competence, technical environment, language, availability and impartiality.
- Oversee day-to-day audit logistics, allocate auditor resources, schedule audits and coordinate client onboarding so each engagement is ready to proceed.
- Review audit results and technical review findings. Assist the Certification Manager with evidence-based decisions, certificate issuance and ongoing certification management. Perform reviews and decisions only within your authorization and independently of audits in which you participated.
- Serve as the main contact for clients asking about the certification process. Explain application requirements, next steps and timelines, and coordinate with the audit team.
- Keep application, accreditation and certification records current in the Complade portal and track outstanding actions and review deadlines.
