Job summary

ACTIEF OOSTKAMP is seeking an experienced CE truck driver to deliver frozen foods across Belgium and neighboring countries. You will safely handle deliveries to supermarkets, distribution centers and business customers, with routes prepared in advance and consistent on-time performance.

The role offers mostly home-time evenings, with 12-hour driving days and occasional overnight stays only in exceptional cases. English suffices; Dutch language is not required.

Qualifications

• Valid CE driving licence and Code 95 are required.
• Based in Belgium (Oostkamp) and available for work in Belgium.
• Knowledge of English is sufficient; Dutch is not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely and on-time delivery of frozen food products to supermarkets, distribution centres, and business customers.
• National deliveries within Belgium and to the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France and Germany.
• Manage routes and ensure trailers are ready for departure; minimal on-truck nights.

Job description

For a leading frozen food transport and logistics company in Oostkamp, we're recruiting a CE truck driver for delivering frozen food products to customers throughout Belgium and its neighbouring countries. Dutch isn't required for this job, so you're free to apply if you only speak English!

Your job

As a CE truck driver, lorry driver, or HGV driver, you will ensure the safe and on-time delivery of frozen food products to supermarkets, distribution centres, and business customers.

Your drives:

• Transport of frozen goods
• National deliveries throughout Belgium, but also to the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France and Germany
• Average of 12h/day on the road (waiting and resting times included)
• Between 5 to 15 stops/day
• Never on weekends or on holidays

Routes are prepared in advance and your trailer is already loaded, connected, fuelled, and ready to go before departure.

You'll almost never have to sleep in your truck, except for some for very exceptional cases when there's no other possibility.
