Job summary

A major industrial company active in recycling and circular raw material management is looking for an experienced CE Driver for a long-term project in the Ghent region.

You will operate on a large industrial site, performing internal transport with a Terberg vehicle, moving scrap metal and other materials between areas, and learning to use cranes and other heavy equipment while maintaining strict safety standards. The role includes a continuous 4-shift system.

Qualifications

• Valid CE driving licence.
• Experience as a CE Driver with large vehicles.
• Willing to learn to operate other machinery including cranes.
• Strong safety mindset.
• Willing to work in a continuous 4-shift system.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out internal transport using a Terberg vehicle.
• Transporting scrap metal and other materials between areas of the site.
• Safely manoeuvring heavy vehicles in a challenging industrial environment.
• Learning to operate different types of vehicles and machinery, including cranes.
• Receiving training to load vehicles and materials using a crane.
• Performing vehicle checks before and during operation.
• Reporting technical defects or unsafe situations.
• Following all traffic and safety regulations on site.
• Working closely with other drivers, operators and maintenance technicians.
