Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Beerse, Belgium, seeks a QA Cryo Supervisor for its CAR-T Cryopreservation Center. The role leads QA Associates Cryo, ensuring compliant, efficient CAR-T QA operations and alignment with global quality standards.

You will partner with QA Cryopreservation Manager, manage batch release, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives while coordinating with MES, SAP, and other systems, in a shift-based environment (early-late).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, science or equivalent with QA experience.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in cell and gene therapy is a plus.
• Proficiency in English and Dutch; strong cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Leads, coaches and develops a team of QA Associates Cryo.
• Provides day-to-day leadership, sets priorities, and conducts performance reviews.
• Translates priorities into daily and weekly plans with QA Cryopreservation Manager.
• Performs batch record review and batch release, balancing hands-on work with team leadership.
• Serves as primary contact for daily QA Cryo operations and risk management.
• Builds partnerships with Cryo Operations, MES, IT, QA Ghent, V2V and MSAT.
