ONE Campaign in Brussels is offering a 6 or 12 month Campaigns Intern starting mid-September 2026, based in Brussels with some remote work and travel opportunities across Europe. The role supports the Netherlands Youth Ambassador and campaigns, engaging with decision-makers and media to advance development and health initiatives in Africa.

You will work with campaigners across Europe, including 30 Youth Ambassadors in the Netherlands, reporting to the Senior Campaigns Coordinator, Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Passion for creating change with campaigning experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong office skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment and solution oriented.
• Creative mindset with bold campaign ideas.
• Ability to collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Genuine interest in international development and Africa.
• Strong written/spoken Dutch and English communication.

Responsabilités

• Support the team to deliver successful campaigns and an active Youth Ambassador programme.
• Assist with campaigns, policy, advocacy, and action planning.
• Identify opportunities and support logistical and creative planning of events and communications.
• Attend meetings with decision-makers, MPs, the public or other organisations about ONE.
• Provide translations and support content creation for social media channels.
• Support messaging in Dutch media and public communications.
• Provide general administrative and database support as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
