Donaldson Company is seeking a design engineer in Belgium to create and update 3D models for industrial air filtration products using SolidWorks and other CAD tools. You will deliver fast concept designs for Sales and project teams and work across functions to ensure design intent is clear and manufacturable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• Experience with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX, Creo, Inventor, Catia).
• Ability to work accurately with strong attention to detail and quality.
• Motivated, solution-focused mindset with the ability to manage deadlines and work in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Create and update 3D models and drawings for standard, OEM, and aftermarket industrial air filtration products using SolidWorks or equivalent CAD tools.
• Deliver fast concept designs for Sales and the project design team, using modular building blocks to support the quotation phase.
• Communicate product concepts clearly through drawings and design documentation.
• Support product engineering on improvements to existing and new products, including transfer of designs to new manufacturing locations.
• Contribute to workflow automation, CAD method improvements, and KPI-driven performance initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external CAD resources, sharing knowledge and offering flexible support when needed.
