Mission

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Travel Agent to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional travel services. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure smooth and efficient travel arrangements while focusing on delivering exemplary customer service and "high touch" reservations. Maintain ongoing relationships with Preferred hotel vendors and work closely with them on client needs. Assist clients on contractual negotiations for Sales Meetings and company. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders in the travel industry and maintaining relationships with preferred airlines, hotels, and other suppliers.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize various communication channels, including email, telephone, and mobile messaging, to provide exceptional service.
  • Provide specialized services such as proactive booking verification and companion travel arrangements.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to create customized travel solutions.
  • Book air, rail, hotel, car, and other services related to a business trip, including understanding of fare notes and rebooking.
  • Provide proactive consulting to ensure that the best "logical" price suitable for the trip, traveler, and corporation has been obtained.
  • Create a compelling experience within each customer contact that produces a highly satisfied customer and ensures single‑contact resolution.
  • Ensure customers’ needs and special contracts/deals between clients and suppliers are utilized.
  • Act according to travelPro American Express Global Business Travel processes, i.e., offering our preferred suppliers.
  • Take care of quality and feedback.
  • Observe standards and guidelines.
  • Work in a goal‑oriented service environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Travel Agent and/or Concierge Travel Agent, preferably in a corporate travel environment.
  • In‑depth knowledge of travel industry practices, including airline operations, fare structures, and global travel regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering personalized and proactive support.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in travel booking systems and online travel tools.
  • Fluency in English; conversational French or German is a strong plus.
  • Previous experience working with VIP travelers and handling their unique needs is desirable.
  • Knowledge of international travel and complex itineraries.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong experience in Amadeus – proficiency in creating air, hotel, and car bookings is a must.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on quality.
  • High knowledge of international geography.
  • Research, information gathering, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Positive and proactive attitude.
