A leading engineering organization is seeking a Business Process Analyst in Brussels. This role requires over 8 years of experience in business process improvement and process architecture. Applicants should possess a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and demonstrate ownership of cross-functional integration projects. Responsibilities include leading workshops to identify process gaps, designing optimized workflows, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards. Full-time position with a mid-senior level seniority.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ownership of cross-functional integration projects.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and/or BPM practitioner certification – a MUST.
  • Ability to travel as needed for ad-hoc projects.

Role and Responsibilities
Process Mapping & Architecture
  • Leads discovery workshops to capture value‑stream maps, process gaps and unmet KPIs.
  • Facilitates process alignment sessions among different stakeholders (Finance, Supply Chain, People Operation, IT, Asset Management and other departments).
  • Captures detailed “As‑Is” and design “To‑Be” models.
  • Validates process maps with process owners and translates them into clear documentation and standards.
Procedure Design & Optimization
  • Re‑engineer process workflows for optimization, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Applies Lean/Six Sigma techniques to establish baseline KPIs and future targets.
  • Converts maps into harmonized, cross‑functional SOPs that remove redundances and hand‑off gaps.
  • Creates business cases for proposed process improvements and quantifies the business impact.
Governance & Digital Systems Compliance
  • Ensures compliance of digital systems with current ISO Standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 22301, 27001), newly acquired ones and Sustainability Frameworks.
  • Acts as a change agent and builds culture for idea generation across the organization.
  • Embeds control points, segregation of duties and audit trails into redesigned processes.
  • Drives 100 % utilization of IMSS digital systems and acts as single point of contact with the group IT department.
  • Governs the SOPs, process maps and templates in a version‑controlled repository.
IMS Roles and Responsibilities
  • Reports any hazards or risks in addition to accidents/incidents to the QHSE department.
  • Be aware of and complies to i engineering’s IMS Policy.
  • Abides by i engineering’s local legal and client requirements.
  • Attends and engages in IMSS awareness sessions.
  • Ensures that all IMSS procedures are regularly followed and raises the issue when they are not.
Qualifications Requirements
  • 8 + years in business process improvement, process architecture.
  • Demonstrated ownership of cross‑functional integration projects.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and/or BPM practitioner certification – a MUST.
  • Ability to travel as needed for ad‑hoc projects.
Education Requirements
