We are looking for aBusiness Consulting Managerto join ourgrowingteam inBrussels.
Your role:
- Define the best approach to address complex business challenges - such as digital transformation, operational improvement, organisational change and time-to-market acceleration - and translate it into a clear methodology and measurable business impact.
- Own the consulting content of assignments: structure the problem, develop hypotheses, guide the analysis and ensure that recommendations are practical, evidence-based and tailored to the client.
- Independently manage consulting engagements, including the work plan, activities, budget, risks and deliverables, ensuring excellent quality and timely execution.
- Lead and develop a team of business consultants, promoting knowledge sharing, constructive challenge and strong motivation.
- Work closely with technical experts in areas such as AI, RPA and advanced data analytics, bringing business and technology perspectives together in an integrated client solution.
- Engage confidently with senior client stakeholders in meetings and workshops, ensuring that the work delivered addresses their needs and creates tangible value.
- Build trusted, long-term client relationships and identify new needs for consulting support.
- Contribute actively to business development by shaping opportunities, developing consulting approaches and proposals, and helping to grow relevant DS&A service offerings.
- Balance business development with hands‑on delivery responsibility; this is not a purely commercial or project‑management role.
Your profile:
- Fluent in English & Dutch, French is a plus
- At least 6 years of post‑studies professional experience in business consultancy involved in projects regarding business transformation, digital transformation, process optimization, regulatory driven transformation, organizational design, business governance, business case modelling or change management.
- You have worked in a consulting environment and can demonstrate both advisory content ownership and successful client delivery. Project‑management experience alone is not sufficient for this role.
- You can independently structure and lead a consulting engagement, from problem definition and methodology design through delivery, stakeholder management and the identification of follow‑on opportunities.
- You bring local market experience in one or more of the following sectors: financial services, insurance, industry, telecommunications, energy or life sciences. Experience in insurance and product‑oriented businesses is particularly relevant to our current growth priorities.
- You understand the core processes, business models, regulatory context and KPIs of your sector, and you are business‑minded and results‑oriented.
- You combine commercial awareness with credible consulting delivery experience. You enjoy contributing to proposals and market growth while remaining accountable for the substance and quality of delivery.
- You have effective team‑management skills and know how to promote knowledge sharing, coach consultants and sustain motivation.
- You demonstrate strong conceptualisation and analytical abilities, with excellent problem‑solving skills and the capacity to turn complexity into clear recommendations.
- You communicate confidently with senior client stakeholders and can facilitate effective meetings and workshops.
