Are you an analytical finance professional with a passion for data modeling, business controlling, and strategic decision support? Do you want to bridge high-level divisional strategy with operational business reality while driving digitalization across a global product division?
What does an assistant divisional controller & business analyst do at the Atlas Copco Group in Wilrijk? In this dual-perspective role within the Airtec division, you combine divisional financial controlling with hands‑on business analytics. You take ownership of core reporting, analysis, and planning cycles alongside divisional business controllers, while developing interactive dashboards and ad‑hoc insights for senior management and product company controllers worldwide.
Your daily flow includes supporting monthly closing, consolidation, and reporting packs for divisional management and the Business Board. You take full ownership of P&L analyses, including cost/margin control, overhead variance, cost bridges, and gross profit follow‑up across product companies. To sharpen your operational understanding, you spend part of your time supporting our local product company in Antwerp/Wilrijk. Additionally, you coordinate global planning cycles (budgets and annual plans), act as a sparring partner for local controllers to enforce “The Way We Do Things” Group guidelines, and drive digitalization by replacing manual spreadsheets with Power BI models, automated data flows, and AI/Copilot integrations. You will work via our hybrid model at our site in Wilrijk.
At Atlas Copco Group you will join an international and diverse environment with specialists from different disciplines. Our culture is rooted in Swedish values, which includes a family feeling, respect and diversity. We invest in our employees' development and well-being, and we provide a flexible work-life balance. With our inclusive and caring environment, you get the support and inspiration you need to grow. Here, your ideas are embraced, and you never stop learning.
You will gain broad exposure to global divisional leadership, participate in international financial projects, and benefit from structured personal development (including guidance by a personal godmother/godfather). We offer an interesting compensation and benefits package, including health insurance, paid leave, retirement benefits, and flexible hybrid working arrangements.
At Atlas Copco Group, we encourage all qualified candidates to apply regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic and social origin, religion, philosophy, disability, age, sexual orientation, or identity.
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our site in Antwerp.
