• 3+ years experience as a Business/Functional Analyst in the insurance sector.
• Strong knowledge of non-life insurance products and processes.
• Proven ability to gather, analyse and document requirements.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused, with ability to engage multiple stakeholders.

For one of our clients in the insurance sector, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a team focused on the transformation of Front-Office solutions used by brokers and partners.

In this role, you will bridge business needs and IT solutions, helping to shape high-quality digital experiences within the non-life insurance domain.

Your responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and document business requirements
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and subject matter experts
• Model business processes and create clear, structured documentation
• Collaborate closely with business representatives, UX teams, developers and offshore teams
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and delivered solutions
• Contribute to the successful delivery of projects within scope, budget and timeline
• Work within an Agile environment and participate in related ceremonies

Your profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst within the insurance industry
• Strong knowledge of non-life insurance products and processes
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, analysis and functional documentation
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused and comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders
• Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English

Nice to have

• Experience with broker portals or Front-Office applications
• Knowledge of underwriting and/or claims processes
• Experience with BPMN, UML and use case modelling
• Strong interest in user experience (UX) and customer journeys
