Job summary

Biobest, a division of BioFirst Group, is seeking a Production Responsible – Bumblebee Rearing to lead two teams of about 40 production staff on-site in Belgium, ensuring a high-quality, efficient rearing process aligned with safety and quality standards.

You will drive continuous improvement, plan production and collaborate with R&D, Packing, QC, Warehouse, and planning to guarantee reliable product availability.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in production environments.
• Affinity for biology or agriculture.
• Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems.
• Natural people manager with strong production-floor presence.
• Results-driven with hands-on mentality.
• Organized, analytical and good communicators.
• Willing to work on-site starting at 7:00 AM.
• Fluent in Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production operations on the floor and act decisively when needed.
• Foster a positive, diverse and growth-oriented work environment and team engagement.
• Promote open communication and guide teams through change.
• Implement performance follow-up, training and development programs.
• Collaborate with other production managers and cross-functional teams.
