ENGIE Belgium in Brussels is seeking a Short-Term Power Market Analyst to join the STP team on the trading floor. You will monitor short-term wholesale and imbalance markets, forecast prices, and develop end-to-end models from research to production.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in a relevant field, have 5+ years in power markets, strong Python skills, and experience with data science, optimization models, and cloud tools. Fluent English is required; Dutch or French are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Monitor short-term power markets (wholesale, imbalance) and forecast prices.
• Develop and own models end-to-end from research to production.
• Provide trading signals and risk analysis to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with traders, meteorologists and data scientists to enhance analytical tools.
• Publish market analyses and develop dashboards for stakeholders.
