Flint Europe, based in Brussels, is seeking an intern for a 6-month placement starting October 2026. The role sits in our Policy & Political Affairs practice, offering exposure to European policy development and regulatory issues, with mentoring from Partners and teams across London and Brussels.

You will contribute to analysis, briefing, and project coordination, while developing your understanding of EU politics and government affairs.

Qualifications

• Educated to at least degree level.
• Interest in the political field, able to demonstrate knowledge in EU politics and political governance.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, research and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding written communication skills, ability to draft clear documents in English.
• Outstanding oral communication skills.
• Good organizational skills including the capacity to prioritize, plan and schedule complex tasks proactively, and be comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills - a flexible approach and the ability to work well across teams, both with internal colleagues and external clients.

Responsabilités

• You will be assigned to our Policy & Political Affairs practice area where you will support client engagements by providing analysis and briefing, contributing to policy development and project management.
• Our expertise in policy development and political analysis stems from decades of experience at the most senior levels of government decision-making in the UK and EU.
• We work on high profile European, British and EU member state regulatory and policy initiatives, transactions and competition cases, grounding our advice in persuasive, evidence-based arguments that resonate with policy-makers.
• Interns receive frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues on their teams. This support includes a Partner from your practice area to help guide your career, helping you to develop your skills and build your network.
• You may also have the opportunity to interact with colleagues in our London office.
