HumanInTech seeks a skilled Java/Spring/Angular developer to join a digital transformation programme for a public health organisation in Brussels. You will work on new development and maintenance across child health, vaccination and social care domains, collaborating with analysts, testers and other developers.

Hybrid work with at least 50% presence in the Brussels office. French language proficiency required for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java and Spring/Spring Boot with JPA.
• Experience with Angular 21 and NgRx.
• REST APIs and OpenAPI knowledge.
• Experience with databases (DB2/MySQL) and DB migrations (Flyway).
• Unit/Integration testing with JUnit/Mockito.
• CI/CD deployment using Docker and containerization.
• Familiarity with IndexedDB, Dexie, and Service Worker (junior ok).
• Experience in Scrum environments and agile delivery.
• Proficiency in French (native or fluent).

Responsabilités

• Participate in technical design with analysts, tech lead and teammates.
• Design components per architecture and standards.
• Develop and evolve backend Java and frontend Angular modules and components.
• Write unit and integration tests to required quality.
• Fix bugs and implement improvements.
• Refactor for readability, maintainability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and deployments across environments.
• Validate deployment and delivery of solutions.
• Collaborate daily with team members and stakeholders.
• Communicate risks and blockers to team lead.
