HumanInTech is recruiting a junior Java/Angular developer to join a Belgian public-sector digital transformation programme in Brussels. You will work on backend Java and frontend Angular components, with focus on delivering new features and maintaining existing systems.

Role requires 1–2 years of experience, native-level French, and ability to work in a service-oriented, Agile/SCRUM environment. Projects include social and medical records digitisation, vaccinations data management, and prenatal

Qualifications

• 1–2 years or more experience with Java and Angular development
• Experience with SQL DB2/MySQL and CI/CD (Docker)
• Experience with Spring/Spring Boot/JPA
• Experience with REST/OpenAPI
• Familiarity with SCRUM and Agile
• Fluent French (native level)

Responsabilités

• Develop backend Java and frontend Angular components
• Participate in technical design with analysts, leads and team
• Write unit and integration tests
• Fix bugs and implement improvements
• Refactor code for readability, maintainability and performance
• Participate in code reviews
• Help prepare deployments across environments
• Collaborate daily with developers, analysts, testers and stakeholders
• Take part in SCRUM ceremonies
• Document developments when necessary and share knowledge
