The European Crop Protection Association is offering a 6-month paid internship in public affairs and legal at its Brussels office. This opportunity provides hands-on experience with EU agricultural policy, focusing on legal affairs and advocacy.

The successful candidate will support legislative research, draft briefings, attend policy events, and engage with stakeholders. Candidates must have a permit to work in Belgium. Applications are to be sent by email.

Qualifications

• Legislative research and political analysis for priority issues.
• Draft briefings on legislative and regulatory developments.
• Ability to engage with key stakeholders and prepare summaries.

Responsabilités

• Support CLE expert groups in developing advocacy plans.
• Monitor legal cases and relevant developments.
• Attend and report on policy events.

Connaissances

Knowledge of the functioning of the European Institutions

Understanding of legal, public affairs and government relations

Ability to synthesise and translate complex issues

Familiarity with MS Office and web management systems
