Albert Cliff Limited in Brussels is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join the private equity team. The role involves origination, underwriting, execution and the first phase of ownership within a compact pan-European platform.

You will work closely with German-speaking counterparties at a Fluent German level, coordinating with management teams and advisory partners while relocating to Brussels for live coverage.

Qualifications

• Fluent German at C2 with ability to interact with German-speaking stakeholders.
• Excellent English; other European languages are a plus.
• Background in leading investment bank or PE firm with deal experience.
• Associate: 2–4 years of relevant deal experience.
• Senior Associate: complete investment cycle including diligence leadership.
• Strong accounting, cash-flow, modelling and valuation skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Brussels and travel across Europe.

Responsabilités

• Identify and qualify investment opportunities across Europe, focusing on DACH-Benelux corridors.
• Lead financial, commercial and structural due diligence workstreams.
• Prepare investment models, operating cases and decision papers.
• Support structuring and negotiations through closing with management and lenders.
• Contribute to post-closing ownership work and monitoring.
• Help establish internal standards of analysis during platform build.
• Conduct market dialogue with discretion to bolster external presence.
