MERIT is seeking an experienced Accountant A-Y to take ownership of financial follow-up and reporting within a dynamic finance team. You will work closely with the CFO to build a robust accounting function, handle international supplier relations, LC management, and ensure timely month and year-end closings.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Involvement with international suppliers and LC handling.
• Experience with month and year-end closings.

Responsabilités

• Handle international supplier communications and LC payments.
• Prepare monthly and annual closings.
• File VAT, Intrastat, Recupel, Bebat where applicable.
• Record monthly entries and perform accounting controls.
• Support cash flow monitoring and reporting.
• Assist in audits and fiscal controls.
• Report directly to CFO.

Voor een internationaal en innovatief bedrijf zijn we op zoek naar een Accountant A-Y die een belangrijke rol wil spelen in de financiële opvolging en rapportering. In deze functie werk je nauw samen met het finance team en krijg je de kans om actief mee te bouwen aan een correcte en efficiënte boekhouding.

Je krijgt een gevarieerd takenpakket, autonomie en ruimte om jezelf verder te ontwikkelen.

Als Accountant A-Y ben je verantwoordelijk voor een brede set boekhoudkundige taken:

• Je onderhoudt contact met internationale leveranciers en volgt letters of credit (LC’s) en internationale betalingen op.
• Je bereidt maand- en jaarafsluitingen voor.
• Je verzorgt verschillende aangiftes zoals BTW, Intrastat, Recupel en Bebat.
• Je voert maandelijkse boekingen en boekhoudkundige controles uit.
• Je ondersteunt bij de opvolging van de cashflow en rapporteert hierover.
• Je assisteert bij audits en fiscale controles.
• Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de CFO.
