Confo Therapeutics in Zwijnaarde is expanding its finance team and is seeking a (Junior) Accountant to support the finance department. The ideal candidate will perform various accounting tasks, manage the purchase process, and assist in financial reporting. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience is required, along with strong attention to detail and good communication skills in English and Dutch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Biotech or pharma is a plus.
• Maturity and discretion to handle sensitive information.

Responsabilités

• Performing accounting tasks and providing support to the finance department.
• Managing the purchase process including following up on purchase orders.
• Recording financial transactions and reconciling account statements.
• Preparing the monthly VAT return.
• Assisting with monthly closing operations.
• Contributing to financial reports and supporting audit processes.
• Providing support in the preparation and reporting of grants.
