MAASH invites a motivated lab intern to join our R&D team working on mycoprotein production. You will gain hands-on experience in fermentation technology, process optimization, and microbial cultivation while contributing to early seed-train improvements and data-driven problem solving.

You will receive comprehensive training in lab techniques and analyses, then independently design and run experiments, validate procedures in 2 L lab-scale fermentations, and collaborate with the team to drive

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated in biotechnology/biochemistry/microbiology.
• Strong interest in fermentation processes and data analysis.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, able to work independently and in a team.
• Familiar with good laboratory practices and aseptic technique.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Available for at least four months starting September 2026.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to optimizing the seed train early stages and production efficiency.
• Refine inoculation procedures and assess media composition and culture parameters.
• Analyze pH, temperature, agitation and other key culture factors.
• Design and run experiments, analyze data, and report results.
• Train on and operate lab-scale fermentations (2 L) in a real R&D setting.
