BM Engineering Group seeks a dedicated BIM Modeler to design and document industrial facilities using BIM tools. You will develop MEP systems, process installations, and production lines in Revit, ensuring data accuracy and on-time delivery.

You will review client sketches, prepare construction drawings, and coordinate with Project Engineers and other BIM specialists to deliver compliant, clash-free models across LOD 100–400.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architectural drafting, applied architecture, or an equivalent field.
• Experience drafting in a BIM environment using Revit.
• Strong interest in industrial engineering, processes, and BIM, and eagerness to learn more about architecture.

Responsabilités

• Review sketches and drawings provided by the client, gather missing data, identify inconsistencies, and estimate completion times to develop models efficiently and on schedule.
• Create design drawings for the Project Engineer/Manager, convert to construction drawings, and integrate technical elements coherently per requirements and client specs.
• Independently model projects from LOD 100 to LOD 400 and generate plans and take-offs from Revit.
• Consult with BIM modelers from other departments to ensure clash-free modeling and interdisciplinary collaboration.

What will you be doing?

As a BIM Modeler, you’ll work on industrial projects, developing MEP systems, process installations, and production lines in a BIM environment. Experience with Autodesk Inventor is a strong asset.

• You’ll review sketches and drawings provided by the client (Project Engineers/Managers), gather missing data, identify inconsistencies and errors, and accurately estimate completion times to develop the models efficiently and on schedule.
• You create design drawings for the Project Engineer and/or Manager, convert them into detailed construction drawings, and integrate technical elements into a coherent and structurally sound whole in accordance with legal requirements and the client’s specifications.
  At the request of the Project Engineer, you review the construction drawings and report your findings clearly and on time to ensure the project progresses smoothly.
• You discuss any ambiguities in the template and the bill of quantities methodology with the BIM Team Coordinator, and make suggestions to improve work processes and automate routine tasks.
• You will independently model projects from LOD 100 to LOD 300 and LOD 400. You will generate plans and take-offs from Revit.
• You will consult with BIM modelers from other departments as needed for interdisciplinary projects. You are responsible for ensuring clash-free modeling.
• You are customer-focused and possess strong interpersonal skills when communicating with clients and external partners at the request of the project engineer and/or manager.

• You preferably hold a bachelor’s degree in architectural drafting, applied architecture, or an equivalent field.
• You have a strong interest in industrial engineering, processes, and BIM, and are eager to learn more about architecture.
• You already have experience drafting in a BIM environment using Revit.
• You have experience modeling (industrial) engineering systems, though this is not a requirement.
• You are meticulous with an eye for detail and possess strong analytical skills.
• You are able to independently seek solutions but can also consult with others when necessary.
• You work in a structured and meticulous manner, enabling your colleagues and clients to collaborate with you easily and efficiently.
