NV5 Geospatial (NV5G) is actively recruiting a BIM Engineer to support BIM and CAD documentation for MEP systems at NATO Headquarters in Brussels. The role focuses on maintaining as-built documentation, information management in a SharePoint environment, and advancing digital Facility Management initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in BIM/CAD, strong Revit and AutoCAD skills, and an active NATO Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Services, Facility Management, Architecture, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of BIM/CAD/Facility Management experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD in production environments.
• Experience maintaining federated BIM models and as-built documentation.
• Familiarity with MEP systems and technical drawings.
• Experience with a Common Data Environment (CDE) and SharePoint.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and update CAD and BIM as-built documentation for MEP systems.
• Support drafting and modelling activities in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Conduct site surveys and ensure modifications reflected in as-built docs.

NV5 Geospatial (NV5G) is actively recruiting a BIM Engineer to support Facility Management and digital transformation initiatives at NATO Headquarters in Brussels. The successful candidate will contribute to the development, maintenance, and optimization of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and CAD documentation for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems across a complex, mission-critical facility environment.

The BIM Engineer will play a key role in maintaining accurate as-built documentation, supporting information management processes, and advancing the digitalization of Facility Management operations. This position requires a highly organized and collaborative professional with strong technical expertise in BIM methodologies, Revit, AutoCAD, and building systems documentation. This position is contingent upon contract award and customer approval. Employment is subject to NV5 being awarded the related contract and the successful commencement of work.

Due to the nature of the work and access to classified environments, candidates must hold an active NATO Secret security clearance at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update CAD and BIM as-built documentation for MEP systems
• Support drafting and modelling activities in AutoCAD and Revit environments
• Conduct site surveys and ensure modifications are accurately reflected in as-built documentation
• Maintain technical documentation within the Facility Management Common Data Environment (SharePoint)
• Coordinate with Facility Management teams, project stakeholders, and technical specialists regarding documentation requirements
• Develop and improve documentation and information management processes
• Support BIM-based initiatives to enhance facility operations and digital transformation
• Assist in the implementation of information management standards and best practices
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Facility Management, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience supporting BIM, CAD, Facility Management, building operations, construction, or asset information management programs
• Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD in a production environment
• Demonstrated experience maintaining and updating federated BIM models and as-built documentation throughout the asset lifecycle
• Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and associated technical drawings
• Experience working within a Common Data Environment (CDE) and managing technical documentation in platforms such as SharePoint
• Experience conducting site surveys and translating field conditions into accurate BIM and CAD deliverables
• Active NATO Secret Security Clearance
• Excellent drafting, documentation, and information management skills
• Upper-intermediate proficiency in English and basic proficiency in the second NATO official language

Preferred (In addition to Requirements above)

• Previous experience supporting NATO, government, defense, critical infrastructure, or other highly regulated and security-sensitive environments
• 7+ years of experience in Facility Management, mission-critical buildings, government facilities, airports, hospitals, data centers, or defense environments
• Experience supporting ISO 19650 BIM standards and information management methodologies
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS), or digital twin initiatives
• Familiarity with BIM execution planning, asset information requirements, and lifecycle information management
• Experience developing documentation standards, naming conventions, and governance processes
• Knowledge of Revit Families, parameter management, schedules, and model quality assurance procedures
