Mercor is seeking proficient bilingual speakers based in Belgium to help make advanced AI models safer. You will write expert Dutch prompts for a range of sensitive topics and apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.

You'll flag adversarial phrasings and document the reasoning behind your judgments. No prior AI/ML experience is required — training will be provided and you will operate from Belgium.

• Native or near-native fluency in Belgian Dutch and business-level written English.
• Based in Belgium and eligible to work there.
• Bachelor's degree or in progress.
• Strong written reasoning and careful attention to detail.
• Sound judgment around sensitive and dual-use information.

About the role

We're hiring proficient bilingual speakers (English & Dutch) based in Belgium to help make advanced AI models safer. You'll apply your language fluency and cultural judgment to evaluate and strengthen how these models handle sensitive topics in Dutch as it is spoken in Belgium. No prior AI/ML experience is required — we'll train you on the workflow.

What you'll do

• Write expert-level prompts in Belgian Dutch across a range of sensitive subject areas.
• Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
• Flag adversarial phrasings and escalation patterns, and document the reasoning behind your judgments.

What we're looking for

• Native or near-native fluency in Dutch as spoken in Belgium, plus business-level written English.
• Currently based in Belgium. This role covers the Belgian variety of Dutch specifically; a separate role covers Netherlands Dutch.
• A bachelor's degree, completed or in progress.
• Strong written reasoning and a high level of attention to detail.
• Sound judgment around sensitive and dual-use information.

Nice to have

• Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming written or technical content.
• Background in trust and safety, content moderation, policy evaluation, or adversarial testing.
