Job summary

TiTANS België is seeking a Data Functional Analyst to translate business needs into scalable data products within the DBS data platform. You will collaborate with business experts, data engineers and project teams to design data models, flows and high-quality data solutions.

The role requires strong analytical thinking, BI/analytics experience, and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders. Fluency in FR or NL is expected, with hybrid on-site work in Belgium.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical mindset and ability to understand complex business processes.
• Experience in functional analysis within Data, BI or Analytics environments.
• Ability to bridge business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with reporting, data warehousing and analytical solutions.
• Familiarity with data modelling concepts (dimensional modelling, star schema, data integration flows).
• Interest in modern data platforms, cloud technologies and evolving analytics ecosystems is an advantage
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Autonomous, proactive and solution-oriented.
• During an interview the candidate can demonstrate his ability to conceptualize processes and data domain

• Proven experience as BI/Data analytics Analyst or BI/Data Analytics Consultant
• Proven Experience Erwin Data modelling tool
• Proven experience in BI or Analytics domain
• Proven experience in Logistic reporting on SAP S/4HANA
• Proven Experience with business requirements gathering
• Proven experience with Power BI
• Proven experience with SAS Enterprise Guide (EG)
• Proven experience with SAS Visual Analytics (SAS VA)
• The consultant demonstrates experience as a BI Functional Analyst in at least two distinct business sectors, evidencing the ability to adapt to different business contexts
• Certification or proven experience as Project Manager (should have)
• Proven experience in a GRD (should have)
• Proven experience in Utilities (should have)
• Proven Experience with Exadata (should have)
• Proven Experience with SAS Data Integration (should have)

Responsibilities

• Understand and support business needs by collaborating with stakeholders to define reporting and data requirements.
• Translate business needs into data solutions with functional analyses and detailed specifications.
• Design source-to-target mappings and information flows for enterprise data assets.
• Ensure data quality, traceability and alignment with business rules throughout delivery.
• Define and execute functional tests and support security requirements.
• Contribute to project success with estimation, scope definition and risk assessment.
