Job summary

Enersee in Belgium is hiring a Backend Software Developer focused on energy, time series data, and data flows. You will build scalable services, ensure reliable data movement from ingestion to API exposure, and collaborate across teams in a hybrid setup with offices in Antwerp and Brussels.

Requires strong Python backend experience (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy) and a practical mindset for production-grade engineering, testing, and data-flow design. Energy/IoT exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Production backend experience with Python and web frameworks.
• Strong Python and API design skills with testing and CI/CD habits.
• Experience designing and operating data flows or event-driven workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build backend services that run in production and expose reliable APIs.
• Develop scalable data flows and integrations for energy platform.
• Improve throughput, latency and observability of critical paths.
• Collaborate with data/AI teams to support model deployment and pipelines.
