Sabena Engineering, a leading aviation solutions provider, is seeking a B1 technician to maintain and repair F16, F35 and MQ9B aircraft in Charleroi, Belgium.

You will coordinate scheduled maintenance programs and modifications, read manufacturer documentation, and work independently or as part of a team; a PART66/BMAR66 licence and strong technical English are required.

A national security background check for NATO clearance is required to perform military aircraft work.

Qualifications

• Experience as an aircraft technician in civil or military environment.
• Good command of technical English for manufacturer docs.

Your main responsibilities:

A B1 technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of F35 / F16 fighter aircraft and MQ9B.

We are currently looking for B1.1 aircraft technicians for our military aircraft maintenance activities on the F16 / F35 and MQ9B

You will be responsible for coordinating and carrying out scheduled maintenance programs and modifications on F16 / F35 aircraft and MQ9B in Charleroi.

Your profile:

• You hold a PART66/BMAR66 licence.
• You have experience as an aircraft technician, either in a civil or military environment.
• You have a good command of technical English, allowing you to understand manufacturer documentation and related materials.
• You are rigorous in using manufacturer documentation and internal procedures.
• You are capable of maintaining and repairing aircraft components, including hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel systems, and mechanical parts.
• You can read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
• You are a team player with a dynamic, meticulous, methodical, and precise approach.
• Working on military aircraft requires a national security background check (standard routine) in order to obtain the necessary NATO security clearance.
