OMP Belgium is seeking a Platform Network Engineer in Antwerpen. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage cloud network architectures in Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalable and secure environments for clients.

This role involves collaborating with various teams to optimize network performance and provide strong technical support. A focus on automation using Terraform and CI/CD systems is required, along with a commitment to improving network infrastructure and adherence to security protocols.

• Design and implement Azure networks: VNets, vWAN, and Azure DNS.
• Manage Azure Firewall, NSGs, Application Gateway, and TLS.
• Automate implementation using Terraform, Bicep, and CI/CD systems.
• Implement network observability using Azure stack and Elastic.
• Collaborate with security teams on Zero Trust principles.
• Produce technical documentation and runbooks.
• Coach junior engineers and act as the technical point of contact.
• Proactively improve existing network infrastructures.

As a Platform Network Engineer, you are the go-to expert for cloud network architecture. You design, implement, and manage complex network environments in Microsoft Azure for our clients. In close collaboration with platform architects, security engineers, and platform engineers, you deliver robust, scalable, and secure customer environments.

You are responsible for:

• Designing and implementing Azure networks: VNets, vWAN, and Azure DNS.
• Managing the Azure Firewall, NSGs, Application Gateway, TLS, policy, and other security features.
• Using Terraform, Bicep, and CI/CD systems to automate implementation.
• Implementing network observability using Azure stack and Elastic.
• Collaborating with security teams to implement Zero Trust network principles.
• Producing technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and runbooks.
• Coaching junior engineers and acting as the technical point of contact for clients.
• Proactively improving existing network infrastructures and advising on best practices.
