Editx is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to join their global Platform Services team in Antwerp, Belgium. In this role, you will design and implement cloud solutions that support the supply chains of prominent global companies.

The ideal candidate will have a background in cloud architecture and DevOps practices, focusing on building secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud environments. You'll work closely with various teams to ensure operational excellence and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to join a global Platform Services team. In this role, you will design and implement secure, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud solutions while driving best practices across architecture, DevOps, automation, and cloud operations.

You will work closely with Platform Architects, Platform Operations, Development, Security, and Infrastructure teams to build and maintain enterprise‑grade cloud environments that support mission-critical applications worldwide.

Role

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure.
• Define and promote best practices for cloud security, governance, compliance, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using modern automation frameworks.
• Optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Drive cloud automation initiatives across infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, and security processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to support cloud-native application architectures.
• Support and guide engineering teams in adopting DevOps and cloud best practices.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the cloud engineering community.
