EngiFlex BV à Bruxelles recherche un(e) Azure Data Engineer / Data Scientist expérimenté pour relier data engineering et data science et industrialiser des use cases sur Azure Databricks. Vous concevrez des pipelines et reprendrez des modèles existants, adaptés selon les besoins métier.

Profil: 5+ ans, maîtrise Spark/PySpark, SQL et Python; expérience en Databricks et Azure; bonnes compétences en communication et reporting Power BI. Poste en environment dynamique et mobilité sectorielle.

Responsabilités

• Concevoir et optimiser des pipelines de données dans Databricks et Data Factory.
• Industrialiser les modèles et calculs pour la production, avec planification et contrôle de qualité.
• Construire et maintenir des rapports Power BI, avec modélisation sémantique et DAX.
• Comprendre et reprendre les modèles existants et les ajuster selon les données.
• Modifier, réentraîner et améliorer les indicateurs en fonction des besoins métier.
• Collaborer avec les Data Engineers/Scientists et les parties prenantes.
• Documenter les flux de données et les meilleures pratiques pour handover.
• Appliquer les pratiques d'ingénierie du développement à la mise en production.

Azure Data Engineer / Data Scientist

Context

Dans le cadre de sa feuille de route 2026, l'organisation déploie plusieurs cas d’usage stratégiques de données sur sa plateforme Azure Databricks. Pour renforcer l’équipe Data & Analytics, nous recherchons un profil expérimenté capable de contribuer rapidement à la mise en production de ces use cases.

Main Mission

En tant qu’Azure Data Engineer / Data Scientist, vous ferez le lien entre la data engineering et la data science afin d’industrialiser et d’optimiser des cas d’usage existants. Vous concevrez et améliorerez des pipelines de données dans Databricks, reprendrez des modèles et calculs d’indicateurs déjà développés par l’équipe, et les adapterez si nécessaire en fonction des besoins métier et de l’évolution des données.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise data pipelines in Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory to feed the use cases.
• Industrialise models and calculations so they run reliably in production, including scheduling, monitoring and data quality checks.
• Build and support Power BI reports, including semantic/data modelling, DAX measures, report design, performance optimisation and alignment with business reporting needs.
• Quickly understand the existing models and calculation logic, including anomaly detection models based on statistical methods and Isolation Forest, as well as indicator calculations.
• Modify, retrain, validate and improve these models and indicators when business needs or data evolve.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists and business stakeholders to translate needs into concrete deliverables.
• Document data flows, models, calculation logic and best practices to ensure a smooth handover.
• Apply engineering best practices across development, testing, deployment and documentation.

Required Technical Skills

• Proficiency with Azure Databricks and Azure services: Data Factory, Azure Storage, Key Vault and Azure DevOps.
• Strong experience with Spark/PySpark and Delta Lake / Lakehouse architectures.
• Strong skills in SQL and Python, including pandas and scikit-learn.
• Strong experience building Power BI reports, including semantic/data modelling, DAX, visual design, performance optimisation and deployment best practices.
• Knowledge of statistics and machine learning, in particular anomaly detection techniques such as statistical thresholds and Isolation Forest.
• Ability to read, understand and take over existing code and models developed by others.

Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data science and/or data engineering, with hands‑on experience in both areas.
• Proven ability to become operational quickly and deliver within tight deadlines.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, autonomy and team spirit.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Nice to Have

• Experience with MLOps practices such as MLflow, model versioning and CI/CD.
• Databricks certification, for example Databricks Data Engineer Associate or Machine Learning Associate.
• Microsoft Azure certification, for example DP-100 Azure Data Scientist Associate.
• Microsoft Power BI certification, such as PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst.
• Experience in public transport, mobility or energy sectors.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Basic SAP knowledge, with S/4HANA as a major data source.
