Planet Pharma is seeking two Cloud Engineers to join our Cloud Platforms team to design, automate, and operate cloud infrastructure across global systems.
You'll work on Azure-based services, IaC, and Kubernetes, building scalable, secure platforms and enabling development teams with reusable components and standardized workflows. This role emphasizes automation, reliability, and governance within a regulated life sciences environment.
We're looking for two Cloud Engineers to join a growing Cloud Platforms team, helping shape and scale cloud services that support global business operations and technology initiatives.
This is an exciting opportunity for engineers who enjoy building cloud foundations, driving automation, and enabling development teams through modern platform engineering practices.
As part of a centralized cloud engineering team, you'll:
Design, implement, automate, and support cloud infrastructure and platform services
Build scalable, secure, and compliant cloud solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Develop reusable cloud platform components, automation frameworks, and reference architectures
Support workload onboarding and adoption of standardized cloud platforms
Operate and optimize Azure-based services and Kubernetes environments
Collaborate with architects, application teams, platform teams, and external partners
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, security, governance, and operational excellence
3+ years' experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps Engineering, or Platform Engineering
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code expertise
Experience with Kubernetes, ideally AKS
Knowledge of cloud networking, security, identity, monitoring, and automation
Experience working with GitHub and CI/CD practices
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Cloud certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, Terraform Associate, CKA)
Experience within regulated environments such as pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or life sciences
Platform engineering experience supporting multiple workload types across enterprise environments
