TUI Cruises GmbH is seeking a Tooling Engineer to ensure GSE and tooling are correctly maintained and available across the group in line with EASA and HSE rules.

You will coordinate with Supply Chain and bases across Europe, drive tool standardisation, and assist in supplier management while supporting audits and procurement decisions. The role includes shift work and travel across Europe as needed.

Qualifications

• You have proven experience in aviation Stores, Tooling & GSE support.
• Knowledge of Boeing tooling requirements and Boeing manuals.
• Familiarity with safety rules around height and equipment maintenance.
• Solid IT skills and engineering systems knowledge.
• Effective communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Understanding Human Factors in maintenance environments.
• Experience in performance management and driving results.
• Financial and commercial acumen supports decision-making.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and ensure GSE and tooling availability per EASA and HSE regulations.
• Promote tool harmonisation across the group to reduce duplication.
• Coordinate calibration timelines with base and line maintenance teams.
• Attend meetings with tooling & GSE suppliers to review performance.
• Review quotes and invoices to agree costs and ensure compliance.
• Guide purchasing on whether to procure new or replacement tooling or GSE.
• Physically assess tooling before shipment to suppliers for repair.
• Source local and international tooling/GSE suppliers across Europe.
• Identify obsolete tooling and procure replacements when needed.
• Act as SME for European TUI line/base and outsourced stations.
• Coordinate distribution of all tools/GSE including AOG shipments.
• Assist in internal audits related to tooling and GSE.
• Work in shifts: Mon-Fri 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00.
