Job summary

Facil Europe is seeking a Project Buyer to strengthen the Purchase team at the Genk headquarters. You will purchase fasteners and connectors for the automotive sector, becoming part of an international team.

Reporting to the Purchase Manager Europe in Genk, you will search for the best supplier deals, assess customer needs, update price and order data, and coordinate closely with other departments to ensure effective, long-term supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree or equal by experience.
• 3–5 years working experience, preferably in automotive.
• Analytical mindset with strong negotiation and coordination skills.
• Technical knowledge is a plus; technical interest is a must.
• Flexibility, persistence and entrepreneurship are key.
• Very good knowledge of English is required.

Responsibilities

• Purchase fasteners and connectors within the automotive industry.
• Negotiate the best deals with suppliers and evaluate customer needs.
• Maintain price requests databases and coordinate with internal teams.
• Follow up on projects and ensure alignment with Purchase Manager Europe.
• Build and sustain long-term supplier relationships.
