ENGIBEX in Belgium is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to design, implement and document software for automotive diagnostics and embedded systems.

You will collaborate with verification, system and application teams, apply ASPICE, ISO26262/21434 awareness, and contribute to bootloader and HSM firmware efforts while maintaining technical docs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of embedded SW development experience.
• Automotive SW development experience, Diagnostics.
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware/software systems.
• Experience with automotive software development standards (ASPICE).
• Good understanding of software architecture principles.
• Experience with Vector Tools is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of ISO26262 and ISO21434 is a plus.
• Experience with VECTOR AUTOSAR stack is a plus.
• Expertise in bootloader design and HSM firmware is a plus.
• Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Proficiency in static and dynamic code analysis methodologies and tools.
• Experience in agile development environments.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Pragmatic, proactive, and solution-oriented.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Fluent in English.
