Job summary

Apex Careers is recruiting an Automation Engineer in West Flanders to take responsibility for the technical and mechanical aspects of our client's production processes, in close collaboration with the Operations Director.

The role covers repairing installations by replacing components across electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic domains, installing automation equipment, and programming PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.

Qualifications

Experience with replacing and repairing electrical, electronic, mechanical components.
Knowledge of setting up automation devices and controlling circuits.
Experience programming PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

Repair installations by replacing electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components.
Install automation components including actuators, sensors, and control loops.
Present machine capabilities to customers and users.
Enter, reset or modify automation programs and download to PLCs.
Draft and update technical instructions, maintenance and test procedures.
Program PLCs, HMIs and SCADA systems.

Automation Engineer

Onze klant zoekt een Automation Engineer die de verantwoordelijkheid op zich neemt voor het technische en mechanische deel van hun productieprocessen, dit in nauwe samenwerking met de Operations Director.

Functie omschrijving

De installatie herstellen door elektrische, elektronische, mechanische, pneumatische en hydraulische componenten te vervangen en/of te herstellen
Automaten, receptoren, regelcircuits, ... op de uitrusting installeren
De mogelijkheden van de installatie aan klanten en gebruikers voorstellen
Het automatiseringsprogramma invoeren, resetten of wijzigen, het downloaden op een programmeerbare automaat en controleren
Technische instructies, onderhoudsprocedures, testprocedures, ... opstellen en aanpassen
