Concurrent is seeking an Assembly Operator for our LA Office to join a high‑performing production team on site. You will build mechanical and electrical components from engineering drawings, inspect parts, and ensure quality standards in a fast paced environment.

The role requires experience reading assembly drawings, using hand tools, and basic measurement gear. You’ll crimp, solder, route cables, document work orders, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining a clean, safe

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing or assembly
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings/work instructions
• Experience using hand tools and basic measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, multimeters)
• Familiarity with cable assembly, crimping, soldering and wire harness work is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow effectively
• Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking

Responsabilités

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components following work instructions and engineering drawings
• Build cable and wire harness assemblies to manufacturing specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement equipment to complete assemblies
• Perform crimping, soldering, heat shrinking, and cable routing as required
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
• Identify defects or discrepancies and escalation issues to the appropriate team member or supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety guidelines
• Accurately complete production documentation and track work orders
• Support continuous improvement and meet production goals as part of the team

The Role

The Assembly Operator is responsible for building mechanical and electrical components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This role supports production operations by assembling, inspecting, and testing components in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working with hand tools and basic measurement equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components following work instructions and engineering drawings
• Build cable and wire harness assemblies to manufacturing specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, and basic measurement equipment to complete assemblies
• Perform crimping, soldering, heat shrinking, and cable routing as required
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and specifications are met

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow effectively
• Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, electronics, or precision manufacturing
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 or J-STD-001 certification
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
• Prior experience in a production or assembly environment
