Application Engineer (Fulltime)

We are looking for an Application Engineer to support the sales staff in delivering technical solutions that meet customer needs and align with Rolls‑Royce Solutions Liège (RRSL) implementation constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze specifications and define machine configurations and topologies.
• Prepare technical documents related to the RRSL product range and project‑specific details.
• Accompany sales representatives to customers or consultants to demonstrate technical competence and contribute to deal closure.
• Participate in studies during the project phase, relaying commercial‑phase information and collaborating with technical counterparts and the RRSL project manager.
• Improve and implement calculation tools and databases to facilitate technical support work.
• Define product specifications for procurement, ensuring technical dialogue with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Master of Engineering (preferably in electricity or electro‑mechanics) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in defining systems involving high‑power rotating electrical machines is an asset.
• Knowledge of electrotechnical standards application.
• Fluency in French and English (English mandatory).
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Curious and eager to learn.
