Vivid Resourcing is partnering with a fast-growing mobility technology company based in Hasselt to hire an experienced Android Developer. You will design and maintain advanced Android applications, delivering high-quality mobile experiences using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

You will collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, designers, and QA teams, contributing to software architecture and engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience in Android development.
• Excellent knowledge of Kotlin.
• Solid experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Good understanding of Java and existing Android codebases.
• Versatile software engineering background with knowledge of architecture, design patterns, testing, and scalable development.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and modern mobile architectures.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

• Design and maintain advanced Android applications
• Build modern mobile experiences using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, designers, and QA teams
• Contribute to software architecture and technical decision-making

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in Android development
• Excellent knowledge of Kotlin
• Solid experience with Jetpack Compose
• Good understanding of Java and experience working with existing Android codebases
• Versatile software engineering background with strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, testing, and scalable application development
• Experience integrating REST APIs and modern mobile architectures
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mobility, transportation, IoT, or connected products
• Knowledge of Clean Architecture, MVVM, or MVI
• Experience with offline-first or real-time mobile applications
• Exposure to cloud platforms or backend technologies
• Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Google Play Store
