Levi Strauss & Co. in Brussels area seeks a Trade Compliance Analyst to support cross-border goods movement in Europe. You will help execute the EU trade compliance program, run audits for AEO, manage classifications, and assist in process improvements across the region.

The role emphasizes strong analytics, stakeholder communication, and collaboration within a multinational matrix organization. Hybrid work in Brussels with three days in office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in international trade, customs, supply chain, or project coordination.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to connect data points to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with Visio. Experience with Power BI/Tableau is a plus.

About the Job

The Trade Compliance Analyst contributes to LS&Co.'s supply chain goals by supporting compliant and efficient cross-border movement of goods across Europe. This role supports the European Trade Compliance program through audit activities, customs compliance initiatives, broker management, process improvement projects, and Trusted Trader (AEO) requirements. By helping maintain robust compliance processes and controls, the role supports operational efficiency while minimizing customs-related risks, costs, and delays

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of the Global Trade Compliance risk management and audit strategy.
• Perform audits supporting Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) requirements and help implement corrective actions where needed.
• Research customs and international trade compliance matters across Europe.
• Maintain trade compliance documentation, procedures, process maps, and training materials.
• Deliver training and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support internal stakeholders and global trade compliance teams on European customs and trade compliance matters.
• Contribute to trade compliance and business improvement projects.
• Support customs classification activities, customs rulings, and related database maintenance.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports in line with internal requirements.
• Support customs broker management and customs clearance activities.
• Assist with audit preparation, customs authority requests, and required documentation.
• Support new trade compliance and logistics initiatives across the region.
• Create and maintain role-related desk procedures.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in international trade, customs compliance, supply chain operations, business process analysis, or project coordination.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret and connect data points to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with process mapping and modelling tools, such as Visio
• Experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
• Experience working within a multinational or matrix organization is preferred.
• Interest in international trade, customs compliance, and supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of European customs regulations, tariff classification, Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), and Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) requirements is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; fluent in either Dutch or French.

This is a hybrid position based in our Brussels Office .

You will be expected to be in the office three days per week , though time in office may vary depending on business needs.

The expected starting salary for this role is €51,000 gross per year.
