TechOhana and a logistics specialist in the Belgian coastal region are hiring an Analyst Developer. You will review current processes, talk to stakeholders to gain insights, and examine code before contributing to development.

The role involves both existing code work and new projects, primarily from a technical perspective. You’ll join a relaxed, collaborative culture with real impact, working on Java, Python, Groovy and JavaScript stacks in a small IT team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in IT, CS, or Applied Informatics required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience; no recent graduates.
• Hands-on knowledge of .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS or SQL Oracle.
• Comfortable with Git and version control workflows.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to understand the why behind what is built.
• Able to work independently, take initiative, and communicate clearly across teams.

TechOhana have partnered with an established company specialised in logistics in the Belgian coastal region to hire an Analyst Developer.

You’ll be looking at the existing processes, speaking with relevant stakeholders to gain insights into those processes and look into the code, before going into development. You'll be working on both existing code and new projects from scratch. Large-scale project analysis won't be required - it will be mainly from a technical perspective.

The company culture is very relaxed and down-to-earth. They have a very collaborative working environment where they work hard when required but also give you the freedom to make decisions together with the team, where you can have a real impact. They work with Java, Python, Groovy and JavaScript.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Bachelor in IT, Computer Science, or Applied Informatics (practical-programme backgrounds preferred)
• At least 1 year of relevant experience - no recent graduates
• Hands-on knowledge of .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or SQL Oracle
• Comfortable with Git and version control workflows
• Strong analytical mindset - you understand not just what to build, but why
• Able to work independently, take initiative, and communicate clearly across teams

WHAT'S ON OFFER

• €3,200 - €4,000/month depending on experience
• Permanent contract
