Job summary

Let's Work Roeselare Food, through its client in the event industry, is seeking a Saw Operator in Roeselare. You will cut aluminium profiles according to technical drawings and ensure pieces meet quality standards.

In a modern production environment, you will alternate between series, one-off, and special pieces, operate a sawing machine, and use ERP Business Central – Propos to process orders. You will participate in shift handovers and perform routine machine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Reading technical drawings to determine cut requirements.
• Setting up sawing machine for required lengths and angles.
• Cutting aluminium profiles for series, one-off, and special pieces.
• Checking own work with gauges and calipers.
• Recording quality checks on inspection sheets.
• Using ERP system Business Central – Propos to process production orders.
• Communicating information during shift handovers.
• Carrying out basic machine maintenance and blade changes.
• Supporting other workstations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Reading technical drawings and determining cut requirements.
• Setting up sawing machine with correct lengths and angles.
• Cutting aluminium profiles for different production types.
• Checking quality with gauges and calipers and recording results.
• Processing production orders in ERP Business Central – Propos.
• Handing over relevant information at shift changes.
• Carrying out first-line maintenance like cleaning and blade replacement.
• Providing support to other stations when required.
