Accent Jobs for People NV is looking for a practical, multifunctional construction worker to join our partner sites in the Westmeerbeek area. You will perform a wide range of tasks, from rough construction to finishing touches, often working independently and at heights.

A valid driving license B is required, and sites are within about an hour radius. The role offers varied day-to-day work across new builds and renovations, with a focus on craftsmanship, safety, and reliable hand tools to

Qualifications

• Experience in construction and/or have completed a construction training course.
• Able to work independently and tackle problems on-site with practical knowledge.
• Eye for neat finishes; capable of working safely at heights.

Responsabilités

• Carry out general rough construction works.
• Perform small foundation and excavation tasks.
• Repair or brick up openings and perform masonry tasks.
• Install and repair gyproc; perform plastering and tiling where needed.
• Paint, fill gaps, and handle minor finishing works.
• Install or remount railings and carry out small roofing tasks.
• Carry out small plumbing and electrical works; transport materials to site.

Your tasks can include the following:

• Carrying out general rough construction works.


• Small foundation works and excavation works.


• Repairing or bricking up openings.


• Small masonry works.


• Installing and repairing gyproc.


• Small plastering works.


• Replacing tiles or carrying out small flooring works.


• Filling, painting and touch-ups.


• Sealing works and other finishing.


• Installing or remounting railings.


• Small roofing works.


• Small plumbing works.


• Small electrical works.


• Transporting materials to the site with the van.


• Carrying out all kinds of small repairs and finishing works so that the site is ready for handover.

You are therefore not the specialist who performs one specific task all day. You are the one who ensures that everything is finished down to the last detail.You mainly work independently on site and are informed daily which tasks need to be carried out.You will regularly work at height. In doing so, you can make use of a scaffold, rolling scaffold, ladder, stepladder or aerial work platform.A certificate to drive the aerial work platform is not required for this position: you will work on it at height, but you do not operate the machine.
