Abakus IT-Solutions in Brussels seeks a skilled Fullstack Developer to design, develop and maintain healthcare web applications using Angular, TypeScript and related technologies, collaborating with health sector stakeholders.

You will implement features, ensure performance and quality, apply TDD, participate in CI/CD and mentor junior developers, while adapting to evolving AI standards and regulatory needs. French or Dutch fluency with understanding of the other language is required.

Context and project

The position sits within an IT services organisation for the public sector. The role involves designing, developing and maintaining software solutions for applications in the health sector, in close collaboration with business stakeholders.

The project focuses on web components that manage patient referral prescriptions, a shared health data platform, and other healthcare applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Java, Angular and related technologies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, design and deliver new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Contribute to code quality, code organisation and automation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers.
• Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
• Write and run unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
• Monitor industry trends and propose relevant new technologies to the team.

Profile

Experience

• Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer.
