AI Solution Architect

As an AI Solution Architect, you are responsible for designing and safeguarding the AI architecture for Cloubis customers. You translate business objectives and AI ambitions into coherent, scalable, and secure architectural choices within the Microsoft ecosystem. You mainly work with Microsoft Foundry and ensure alignment between AI solutions, data platforms (Microsoft Fabric & Azure Databricks), and AI governance. You act as a subject matter expert and sparring partner for customers, AI Engineers, and Data Engineers.

What will you do?

• AI Architecture & Strategy
  • Translate business objectives and use cases into an overarching AI architecture and roadmap
  • Design end-to-end AI architectures (data → context → semantics → AI application → consumption), including lifecycle management, monitoring, and governance
  • Design and position semantic layers and ontologies (Microsoft IQ concepts) as the foundation for reliable AI applications and AI agents
• Platform & Ecosystem Positioning
  • Define how Microsoft Foundry is positioned as the AI control plane on top of Microsoft Fabric and (optionally) Azure Databricks
  • Position Microsoft IQ (context, semantics, ontology) as the bridge between data, business, and AI reasoning
  • Define how Copilots and AI agents are integrated into the broader data and AI landscape
• Governance, Security & Compliance
  • Define AI governance frameworks covering lifecycle management, logging, evaluation, and monitoring
  • Design observability mechanisms for Copilots and AI agents (such as Agent 365 concepts), including tracing, quality measurements, and auditability
  • Safeguard responsible AI principles and compliance with GDPR, NIS2, and the EU AI Act
  • Ensure consistency between data governance and AI governance
• Stakeholder & Presales
  • Act as a sparring partner and trusted advisor for customers on both architectural and strategic levels
  • Support presales trajectories with high-level designs, scope definition, and feasibility assessments
  • Advise on AI roadmaps, priorities, and investment decisions
• Coaching & Thought Leadership
  • Review AI architectures and solutions within ongoing projects
  • Coach AI Engineers and Data Engineers on an architectural level
  • Contribute to reference architectures, standards, accelerators, and methodologies
  • Represent Cloubis with customers, partners, and at events

Your Profile

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Economics, or a similar field through experience.

• You think in terms of delivery, reliability, and production readiness rather than AI research.
• You enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams.
• You have knowledge of the Microsoft Data & AI ecosystem.
• You are eager to learn about governance and security.
