In4Matic is seeking a technically strong leader who can guide two closely connected initiatives and shape an AI-enabled software development approach. The role combines architecture ownership, hands-on technical direction, and team leadership within an Agile environment.

You will coach developers, define architecture, and ensure delivery quality while collaborating with Scrum Master and Product Owner. Fluent Dutch (C2) and English are required; long-term consulting engagement in Belgium.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in technical design and leading technical aspects of projects.
• At least 8 years of experience in the relevant programming language or comparable environments.
• At least 3 years of experience with API design and integration patterns.
• At least 3 years of experience with CI/CD processes and tooling.
• At least 3 years of experience with logging, monitoring, and observability.
• At least 3 years of experience with modern application architectures such as microservices or service-oriented architecture.
• Fluent Dutch at CEFR level C2.
• Experience in development projects.

Responsabilités

• Define and safeguard the technical architecture and design guidelines within the team.
• Develop complex technical solutions and support their implementation.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate software developers, supporting their technical growth.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
• Work closely with the Scrum Master and Product Owner on technical feasibility and priorities.
• Promote shared ownership and a strong team mindset.
• Contribute actively to achieving sprint goals and resolving technical blockers.
• Lead the technical direction of the team and ensure high-quality delivery.
